All Hilltops region business owners and manager are being invited to submit information and images about their business to the Young Visitor Information Centre to be included on the visithilltopsregion website.
The aim is to collate and promote the local business presence in the region.

Celtic music is an integral feature of Boorowa’s Irish Woolfest and this year the strains of 2018 Australia Celtic Music Awards best new talent, SugaTree will ring out during the event.
Natalie Parker, Ryan Pentland and Yanni Dellaportas are member of the SugaTree group and revel in their unique blend of folk, pop and Celtic genres.
The music is one important element of this family friendly festival now in its 22nd year to be held at Boorowa from September 28 – 30 in 2018.
August 28 is the date locals can to enjoy the humour and fun of the Bush Poets gathering at the Young Hotel. It’s a real Aussie event, and one that welcomes newcomers. Times are from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. This month’s special guests are the Roweth family of Millthorpe, who sing, recite and have recorded over 25 albums.

Just a reminder that there is a six-month NSW Trainlink trial underway providing an extra coach service for a more seamless connection with the XPT train services to and from Cootamundra and Sydney.
The additional coach leaves Cootamundra for Young daily at 12.55pm, arrives in Young at 1.35pm and leaves Young shortly afterwards at 1.45pm back to Cootamundra. This bus starts and finishes its journey in Queanbeyan.
Bookings are now open for all three activities comprising the Hilltops Food and Wine Weekend to be held from September 21 – 23. Why not organise a party of friends and family to take advantage of this annual Spring attraction. Tickets at The General Store for the Jugiong and Wine award events and Young Visitor Centre for the long table lunch.
