When is Cherry Season?

Cherry Season usually starts in early November and ends around Christmas time. It is a short 5-6 week season and weather dependent. Phone ahead to the Young Visitor Information Centre on 1800 628 233 for availability

Where is your nearest Airport?

Canberra Airport is the closest commercial airport to the Hilltops Region.

How many people live in the Hilltops Region?

Census results of the Hilltops Council area in 2016 showed a population of 18,498

Is there public transport?

The short answer is yes, but it is limited. The XPT travels through the Hilltops Region From Sydney to Melbourne and back daily.

If you are looking to visit Young though, you need to disembark from Cootamundra Station and catch a bus the rest of the way.

There is no regular public transport between the towns of the Hilltops Region.

You will find taxis in Young.
